WHAT WE BELIEVE

…that God knows you and loves you.

God is eternal and omniscient (all-knowing). He knows each one of us. He knows every heartache and disappointment that you’ve ever had. It is His desire that you would know Him and allow Him to show you His way of living. Allow Him to reveal the love and care He has for You! (Read Ps 139 to find out more)

…that God never changes.

“Jesus Christ (is) the same yesterday, today and forever,” as it says in Heb 13:8. God hates sin, not only because it violates His Holy Nature and Law, but because it destroys you as a person. No amount of religious exercise can change that. God never changes in His attitude concerning sin, however, His attitude toward the sinner is one of compassion and love. He can and does separate the sin from the sinner. The Bible tells us that He feels deep compassion for us (Ps 103:13), He loves us (Jn 3:16), He’s willing to cleanse us and forgive us (1Jn 1:9); and He wants to lead us and protect us (Ps23).

…that worship is a whole life commitment to God.

The way we live, the way we speak, the way we relate to God and man is all worship. However, gathering corporately to express our love and commitment to Him is a very important part of our Christian life and service.

…that God is the giver of every good gift!

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, from the Father of lights.” (James 1:17) Whether you realize it or not, God is the influence behind every good gift, whether He works through people you know or circumstances that come your way-God is behind it all.

God is NOT the author of evil (e.g. murder, rape, wars, or accidents). These things exist because people have refused to come under the lordship and protection of Jesus Christ. The most important of His good gifts are those which are spiritual. Once we receive the spiritual, it has a direct effect upon all the natural things in our lives: our relationships, our health, our finances, our friends and much, much more.
