About Us:

Christ Lutheran Church is a family-sized Lutheran congregation that has worshipped in this lovely, wooded location since 1960. Nestled at the foot of the Cascade Canyon hills and surrounded by trees, worship and community life is enhanced by nature's beauty.

CLC stands in an interesting intersection between old and new. We're a progressive congregation, open and affirming. We welcome people of all kinds, wherever they are in their spiritual journeys. At the same time, as a Lutheran congregation, we are blessed with a rich and ancient heritage of theology and liturgy, which we celebrate.

Our Sunday morning worship experience reflects this intersection. We have a blended service with piano and organ, favorite old hymns and jazzy new interpretations. Preaching at CLC is lively, accessible and meaningful, and addresses real issues in the lives of members and in the world. Children are welcome in our worship. A number of CLC's folks are charter members of the congregation, and they raised their kids at Christ Lutheran.

Activities at Christ Lutheran Church include worship, bible study, music, Sunday morning classes and Wednesday evening programs. Fourth Sundays feature jazz, gospel and folk music.
