What We Believe:

The Bible: We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God that instructs us in the ways of righteousness. We believe that you can receive revelation from the Scriptures that will lead and guide you through every part of your life, family, business, and church ministry.

God the Father: We believe God is a good God who created all people and wants them in His Heavenly family. Because of His unconditional, unchanging Love for us, His desire is to bless us and lead us into an abundant life as we walk in obedience to His will and His Word.

Jesus Christ and His Church: We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God and that salvation is available to all sinners by Grace through Faith, for the forgiveness of sins by His blood. Jesus is building His church throughout the whole earth and our local church is a part of the Body of Christ worldwide.

Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit's gifts and abilities are given for all believers as expressed in the book of Acts and that we can experience His anointing and empowerment to live an overcoming life.

Water Baptism: We believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in order to fulfill the command of Christ.

Praise and Worship: We believe in Worshiping the Lord in Spirit and in Truth, with all the means revealed in the Bible and with heart felt expressions and demonstrations of love, adoration, joy and thanksgiving.

Healing: We believe in the healing of the body by Divine Power, or Divine healing in its varied aspects as practiced in the Early Church.

Communion: We believe in the Table of the Lord, commonly called Communion or the Lord's Supper, for believers.

About Us:

Christian Family Center is a non - denominational, self-governing, local, Spirit - Filled church. The church is led by Senior Pastors Terry & Lindsey Rude. Local elders provide valuable oversight and guidance in both spiritual and policy matters. CFC also has a relationship with other like-minded Christian leaders and churches through Ministers Fellowship International (MFI).

The church was founded in 1967 and first met in a store front in East Stanwood. In August of 1979 the church moved to it's current location on Camano Island. Pastor Terry came on staff in 1985 as the Youth / Associate Pastor. In September of 1991, Pastor Terry and Lindsey became Senior Pastors. Since that time, Christian Family Center has grown considerably and has purchased property just east of the Stanwood Exit off I-5.
