Welcome to the northern end of Lake County Oregon where you will find: small thriving communities and agrarian enterprise, vast landscapes, desert sands carpeted in tiny wildflowers, towering lichen-highlighted basalts, rolling hills that qualify as mountains and massive sand dunes.

North Lake and all of Lake County is home to an enormous range of wildlife and on any given day, whether driving or walking, one is likely to see: Bald and Golden Eagles, Peregrine Falcons, owls, hawks, Sandhill Cranes, gamebirds and waterfowl, and migratory songbirds. If you look down you'll spot: Horned Toads, lizards, and other small wildlife that make the vast oceans of sage their home. Lift your gaze and scan that ocean and you may glimpse Mule Deer, Prong Horn Antelope, Rocky Mountain Elk and on rare occasions Big Horn Sheep.

The Christmas Valley/North Lake Chamber of Commerce invites you to come and play or come and stay. This is a wonderful place to visit and a wonderful place to live.
