The Christmas Wonderfest is modeled upon traditional European Christmas Markets. All across the world people come together in this glorious season to enjoy seasonal specialties, shop and to enjoy each others company.  The Wonderfest is designed to be a uniquely Michigan version of this international phenomenon.

Like other markets we feature gift ideas from around the world, specialty foods and more. We also have a Made in Michigan section where you can assure that your dollars are staying local. Our Small Business area features start ups and family run organizations. The MotorCity Marketplace gathers museum gift shop items from across the state to provide a fund raising opportunity for them and one stop shopping for you.

What is Christmas without foods? Enjoy the specialty foods that you have come to love, and perhaps some that you have yet to taste. Everything from Strauben to Chestnuts and so much more.

While the festival is moving inside this year, we are not forgetting our outdoor roots. The popular full sized carousel is coming with us. Kids and families can visit the North Pole to see Santa and to work with elves on creating one of a kind gifts.

We are working on choir competitions, family meals and so many more ideas and will post them as they become reality. You are invited to make suggestions as we work together to create the Christmas of our dreams.
