The committee is a group of citizens concerned with community support and funding of our local fire department in the Yelm and Rainier area.  Recent tax laws and rules and regulations governing the operation of fire departments make it increasingly difficult to ensure rapid, quality emergency services in our area.  The committee is working to educate voters and to gain community support so our firefighter/EMTs can help us when we have an emergency.  All funds donated to the committee will be used for mailers, signs, etc. for the levy campaign.
