Aledo provides many opportunities for residents to get involved in the community ranging from civic and social clubs, church worship, school activities and community events.  Our civic organizations include Jaycees, Rotary, Exchange Club, Kiwanis, Lions, Fraternal Order of Mason with various missions that enhance the City.  There are seven churches of various denominations serving the religious needs of our residents.  The Mercer County Schools provide excellent education for our youth and the competitive spirit of our academic and athletic teams is a great source of pride in the area.  Rhubarb Festival and Antique Days, along with other events, are also super fun for our residents and visitors.
