About
Carrollton is located at the confluence of the Kentucky and Ohio Rivers. Carrollton offers many recreational opportunities, such as the city owned Point Park that includes a public boat ramp, pavilion, shelter houses, playground, bathroom, and several other amenities.
Carrollton also offers camping at its new state of the art 33-site 2Rivers Campround with full service hook-ups and a bathhouse. It is open all-year, so if you are traveling south in the winter or north in the spring and need an overnight site, visit www.2RiversCampground.com to make reservations.
Carrollton offers a river walk connecting downtown with the campground. Adjacent to the city is General Butler State Resort Park. We have a visitor's center in our downtown historic district that can direct you to shopping and other entertainment in town.
Carrollton also is only 14 miles south of the Kentucky Speedway on I-71.
