Savanna is located along the Mississippi River, 150 miles west of Chicago. Savanna belongs to the West Carroll School District, a consolidated district with Thomson & Mt Carroll. Major employers include, Maclean Fogg Co, Elkay Manufacturing, Swiss Colony, Sullivan’s Foods, & WC School District.
