City Government: The City is run by an elected Mayor and four members of the Board of Aldermen, two from each side of Weston. Main Street is the dividing line for the city wards. Ward I on the east side of Main Street and Ward II on the west side of Main Street. The Mayor and each board member are elected to serve two-year terms.

Vision Statement: Working in partnership with the residents of the greater Weston community, the City Staff, officials and policy makers are committed to preserving the physical beauty, historical heritage and environmental quality of the City, while striving to manage growth and promote development to ensure that it is a positive force on the general welfare of the Weston community, through clear plans, guidelines and regulations that achieve this goal.

Our mission will be achieved when we:

    -Make decisions based on the preferences of the majority of our citizens;
    -Proactively seek a preferred future by implementing and maintaining Weston's plans and regulations; and
    -Strive to maintain our identity as a unique historical community while actively supporting economic and residential vitality.
