Situated in the Southern California coastal region, the City of Yorba Linda is located 25 miles southeast of Los Angeles and 95 miles north of San Diego. It is bordered by the City of Anaheim to the south, Placentia to the west and Brea to the north, and by unincorporated portions of Orange County.

Yorba Linda is 8 miles from Angel Stadium (home of the Anaheim Angels), 10 miles from Disneyland, and 12 miles from Knott's Berry Farm. The San Bernardino and San Gabriel Mountains are a one-hour drive, providing countless opportunities for skiing, hiking, fishing and camping.

One of the reasons Yorba Linda is such an attractive place to live is due to its landscaping and extensive trail system. There are some 100 miles of equestrian, biking and walking trails in the City.

In addition to the well-maintained horse trails, the City has also built three state-of-the-art equestrian arenas. The nearby Chino Hills State Park also affords residents the opportunity to ride in unspoiled wilderness.
