Despite the fact that Arlington County is one of the wealthiest areas in the country, plenty of local residents do not have enough to eat. Arlington Food Assistance Center seeks to remedy this problem by distributing bread, vegetables, meats, milk, and other food items to needy Arlingtonians. AFAC has grown from a small food provider with no permanent location to a major pantry that distributes groceries to hundreds of families each week.

Parishioners help to bag and distribute canned goods, staples and perishables to the poor.
