Clayton's Crab Company first opened its doors in 1967. Original owner Clayton Korecky, Jr. was a local fisherman, who began the business almost by accident. He caught more blue crabs than he could sell so the idea to open a wholesale seafood business was born.

In 1970, the retail market opened and it is currently the largest seafood market in Brevard County, FL.

Excellent ownership
In 2013, Brian and Jan Walker purchased Clayton's. Visitor's need not fear any drastic changes to the company - Jan had been working for Clayton's on and off for 30 years and Brian worked for the company for the previous 4 years.

Let the tradition carry on

Brian and Jan have vowed to continue the tradition of fresh seafood that Clayton originally started.
