The Clifton Historical Commission's goal is to enlighten the public about, and preserve the historic artifacts of our city, Passaic County, and the state of New Jersey.

About Us:

The Historical Commission is an advisory committee to the Clifton City Council, we recommend actions that we believe should be taken by the Council, it is up to them to take our recommendations under consideration and make final decisions. Our main goal is to research the historical significance of new building sites and report any detrimental effects to the city along with any recommendations.
