Monthly:   Dinner for a Dollar

                  The second Thursday of every month [except July and December] our Dinner for a Dollar is served from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Delicious home made spaghetti, salad, bread and rolls, desserts, and beverages are offered.  Once a month enjoy a night out and affordably feed your family.  A donation of $1 per person or $3 per family is humbly accepted, but not required.

Monthly:  Chess Club

                  Once a month chess enthusiasts meet to play some fun games of chess.  The meeting is held on a Sunday at 1:00 p.m.  Bring your board!  Bring a friend!  All ages and playing abilities are welcome.   Contact:   Phil (412) 443-2100 or [email protected]

Monthly:  Nature Club

             Nature Club invites children ages 5 - 12 to grow in their appreciation, understanding and enjoyment of nature.  Premier guests from the Pittsburgh area are featured during each meeting and they provide fun, interactive programs, many of which include visits by live animals.   The children are taught about environmental responsibility, living harmoniously with nature, recycling, outdoor safety, gardening, animal care, and other topics in this same venue.  Nature Club meets twice a month from September through May.

Summer:  Nature Club Day Camp

          Nature Club Day Camp is the best week of the summer!  Each day kids ages 5 -12 enjoy an interactive presentation by premier Pittsburgh organizations, games, crafts, snacks, songs and skits.  All the activities are focused around nature and the kids go home with a greater understanding and appreciation of the wonderful world around them.  The camp is held for one week of the summer, Monday throughout Friday, from 9:30 - 12:00.  It is usually held in July or August.  Contact:  Julie (412) 833-4660.

December: Drive-Thru Live Nativity

                 Drive-Thru Live Nativity is held on a Saturday in December. There are numerous scenes depicting the story of the first Christmas.  These are viewed while following a luminaria lit path from the warmth and comfort of your car.  We also welcome any volunteers who could help make this gift to the community possible.  Help is needed to get the scenes in place prior to Live Nativity, and on the day of help is needed in the kitchen and being an actor in the many scenes.  Contact:  Janet (412) 805-7194
