The mission of the Cooperative Middle School is to provide a challenging, safe, and healthy learning environment designed to meet the social, emotional, and intellectual needs of all students.

The Cooperative Middle School is located in Stratham, New Hampshire and is administered by the Exeter Region Cooperative School District which serves the towns of Brentwood, Exeter, East Kingston, Kensington, Newfields, and Stratham. The student population is comprised of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students from these six towns.
