SINCE 1986 on the first weekend in December the artists and artisans of One Cottage Street have opened their doors to the public with an annual OPEN STUDIO AND HOLIDAY SALE. Seven years after our first open studio event we added the first weekend in June to make it a semi-annual event.

Participating members work together to organize and fund the event, meeting many times throughout the course of a year and maintaining a loosely structured governing body. In the recent past we have also received financial support from various local institutions such as Easthampton Savings Bank, Florence Savings Bank, the Easthampton Cultural Council, and the Daily Hampshire Gazette.  Many of the participating artists are frequent contributors to the dozens of local art auctions and charitable fundraisers held in the Pioneer Valley.

ONE COTTAGE STREET is the home of dozens of regionally, nationally and internationally recognized and awarded artists and artisans.

The factory building which over two decades ago enclosed almost four acres of empty space now sports a lively complex of human service programs, craftspeople, light industries and artists.
