Grows healthy food for the Chattanooga area,

Educates children and families on the benefits of farms and local food,

Grows the market for fresh local food, supporting the success of local farms, and 

Connects diverse people, nature, and place in a beautiful farm setting

About Us:

Crabtree Farms is a community teaching farm that promotes sustainable agriculture. We are re-energizing Chattanooga's residents and involving them in the local foodshed through a family of educational programs. Since 2001, Crabtree Farms has been growing a demonstration urban farm as a learning tool for communities, families, schools, youth and farmers. Crabtree's programs work to increase local food security by increasing farm production and growing consumer demand for local food.

The farm grows over 120 varieties of nutritious organic vegetables and fruits. It also produces herbs, plants for sale, flowers and honey that are all sustainably-grown by our small staff and an army of farm volunteers.
