Join the Crisis Center in providing Crisis Intervention to people in the community who need assistance. Volunteers assist callers with emotional and personal crises through crisis intervention and referrals to community agencies. Crisis Intervention workers respond immediately to support people in crisis: people with thoughts of suicide, victims of domestic violence, victims of sexual assault, and those unsure of where to turn for assistance. 40 hours of free, comprehensive training is offered in an interactive classroom atmosphere.
