Dads For a day is a faith based 501(c)(3)organization that provides one-on-one mentoring for males growing up in household without a father. We begin working with them when they are between the ages of 8 and 15. Each child is matched with one adult to form a mentor/mentee team. The team will stay together until the young man has graduated from hogh school and has a plan for his future such as college, trade school, military or employment. The mentor meets with his mentee for a minimum of two hours each week, unless he is on vacation. Their goal is to teach the mentees the virtues and characteristics needed to be a contributing citizen in society.
