Mission Statement:
In response to a changing society, our school will strive to develop and adopt new
principles and procedures for the education of all our students.  Yesterday's education
prepared the student for adult life through the teaching of basic skills.  However, because today's world changes at a rapid pace, education has broadened into a process-oriented,rather than a subject-oriented, curriculum.  In addition to basic skills, flexibility and critical
thinking skills will be taught in order to prepare our students to function effectively in contemporary times.
     One purpose for teaching is the interpreting and establishing of goals for students.
Along with this, the teachers try to communicate knowledge in a relevant way so the students can see application in what they are doing and what they need from life.
     The overall purpose of education at Daniels Elementary is to help boys and girls develop their potential and to assume individual and group responsibilities for effective participation in our democratic society.
