About Us

CENTRAL FLORIDA CULTURAL ENDEAVORS, INC. (CFCE) is a non-profit organization presenting a wide variety of musical and cultural events in Volusia and Flagler Counties. CFCE´s annual events include concert series, education and outreach programs and special events. CFCE is the presenting organization of the biennial Florida International Festival featuring the London Symphony Orchestra and slated for July 13-28, 2007.

Since 1974, under the founding of Herbert M. "Tippen" Davidson, CFCE has evolved from the presenter of the Festival to provider of performances and series events featuring artists of the highest caliber and also presenter of various musical concerts. The 2006-2007 CFCE Series will feature the debut of The Chamber Ensemble from The Academy of St. Martin in the Fields and the Australian Chamber Orchestra as well as other renowned ensembles. CFCE has also expanded its annual season by adding the Florida International Festival Encore Series, which is now in its 4th year!

CFCE and the Florida International Festival pride itself on featuring many internationally acclaimed and distinguished artists and ensembles such as The London Symphony Orchestra, Itzhak Perlman, Wynton Marsalis, the English Chamber Orchestra, Guarneri String Quartet, and the Martha Graham Dance Ensemble.

The 2007 Florida International Festival will host over 200 artists in approximately 115 performances and activities in addition to education and outreach programs. CFCE looks forward to continuously bringing a collection of irresistible musical talent and gifted artists to the Daytona Beach and Volusia County area!
