About Us:

Derby Ridge Farm is a 5th generation apple orchard located in Stow, Massachusetts. The farm was originally purchased by the Derby Family in January 1910. With the addition of the land purchased in 1947, the farm consists of just over 75 acres. The family settled in Stow in the early 1700’s and has continued the fruit growing legacy ever since.

Derby Ridge Farm, or “Derby’s,” grows over 30 varieties of our own fresh apples, peaches, pears, nectarines, and plums. We also press our own unpasteurized sweet cider. Derby’s offers local honey, jams, jellies and unique gifts. We also offer seasonal products including local vegetables, pumpkins, gourds, cranberries, Christmas trees, and wreaths. During fall weekends we make our own homemade fudge, cider donuts and other baked goods. We also offer a genuine pick-your-own apple experience on weekends and Monday holidays. Our farm stand is located 2 miles from our orchard which lets our customers escape to a peaceful and scenic orchard setting free from crowds.

The Derby Ridge Farm family aims to provide high quality fruit using minimal pesticides. We are an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) orchard and use ONLY unrestricted sprays. We focus on the products and offer the public an authentic old-fashioned farm stand atmosphere.
