Mission Statement: To assist in coordinating, improve, and increase programs and resources available to residents of Desert Hot Springs, and sphere of influence.
The Desert Hot Springs Community Task Force (DHSCTF) will facilitate communication between city, county, State, Federal officials, local agencies, Social service providers, churches, other non-profit organizations, Educational services, and residents.
Purpose: We are a collaboration of various organizations, and community members, which include but are not limited to: Desert Springs Middle School PTSA (PTA) - Parent, Teacher, Student Association, PACCT (Parents, Administrators, Community, Children, Teachers – who hold meetings jointly with Palm Springs Unified School District), Desert Hot Springs: Chamber of Commerce, Parks and Recreation, Police Department, and Kiwanis.
We encourage participation from the sphere of influence, and unincorporated areas which include but are not limited to: Mission Lakes, Dos Palmas, B Bar Ranch, Sky Valley, Painted Hills, North Palm Springs, and surrounding Coachella Valley, agencies, services, and individuals who are interested in helping our community.
Our purpose is not to overtake a group or organization, but to help resolve and achieve solutions, bringing community together as “ONE” and stop being fragmented. Ideas and suggestions will be discussed for improvements for our community and youth, which can be brought forward to the city council, County Supervisor(s) and other government agencies through various community people.
