The DeSoto Historical Society has formed a committee to inventory all of the cemeteries in the parish and publish a list of those interred in each cemetery. The organization has limited copies available for $25 of a reprint of the 1981 cemetery book. Volunteers are needed to help inventory the cemeteries and help update the existing book by taking the old inventory, visiting the cemetery, and listing the changes (updates). Ideas are welcome.
