About Us:

Griggs Elementary School is located in Poplar Branch, NC, and is home to approximately 255 students in grades Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. 

Griggs Elementary School was among six Title I schools across the state of North Carolina who was recognized this year for our Sustained Student Achievement.  For the past three years, our students have demonstrated growth each year as measured on the End-of-Grade test in the areas of Reading, Mathematics, and Science.

Parents are very involved in their children's education and volunteers are always welcome at our school.  A Parent Resource Center was opened at our school to provide access to computers and reading materials.
