About
Dragonfly Golf Club is open to the public as well as offering monthly passes that induce unlimited golf, carts and range balls.
Opened in 1999, Dragonfly is a links-style course designed by internationally renowned golf course architect, Gary Roger Baird and is the former host site of the Save Mart Shootout.
Situated on the banks of the San Joaquin River, Dragonfly features giant oak trees, generously sized rolling hybrid Bermuda fairways, large undulating bent grass greens, five water hazards, and nearly 100 bunkers. With no houses, no traffic noise, no parallel fairways, and all this complemented by panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Dragonfly is an unimaginably serene setting just 10 minutes from Fresno.
Dragonfly is also one of the longest and highest rated golf courses in California. At 7,783 yards from the back tees and boasting a 76.9 course rating with a 140 slope, Dragonfly will test even the best of players.
Dragonfly offers 7 tee-box locations that begin as short as 3,690 yards and has a set of white tees that are positioned at a comfortable 6,202 yards. From 2015- 2017, Dragonfly was voted as the #1 rated course in the Fresno area by the Fresno Business Journal and in 2016 was voted as the 5th best public course in the Central California Valley by California Golf and Travel Magazine and Travel Magazine.
