About Us:

The East Boston YMCA is located in the historic Boston and Albany Engine house on Bremen Street, which was renovated in 2005. There is an additional site located on Ashley St, where community events and afterschool programs are held. Today, the YMCA is one of the community’s leading social service providers. This branch features a community teaching kitchen which offers healthy cooking classes and programs for all ages.

Youth Development – 600 youth are taking a greater interest in learning; making smarter life choices. Our Y offers licensed before and after school programs, and summer day camp programs and a wide variety of youth development programs for teens.

Healthy Living – 5,600 adults and youth receive the support, guidance and resources needed to achieve better health and well-being by being a member of our Y.

Social Responsibility – We ensure that our programs are accessible to all by providing $150,000 in financial assistance each year to our programs and services.
