East Elementary School is recognized as a Hall of Fame school in the state of Ohio. We are proud of the solid tradition of academic success at our school as well as the experiences we are able to provide our students during these very formative primary years of their educational career. Our students at East Elementary have the opportunity to participate in an array of curriculum selections including music, cultural arts, and recreational activities. Band and orchestra programming is available to our fifth grade students in addition to basketball.
Our school is the home to 550 students in grades kindergarten through five. A staff of 49 professionals blends experience and enthusiasm to meet the needs of our students with several enhancement programs that offer supplemental help in reading, math, speech, and language skills. Because we understand the importance of educating the "whole child," students are also offered extracurricular opportunities including student council, the science fair, "Taking it to the Schools," and the Accelerated Reader program.
In addition to a top-notch staff and student-centered programming, our PTG and community volunteers are an extremely valuable support and resource to our students and our school community.
We believe East Elementary School is a great place to be, and together with our school community and local community, our students are given an environment in which they can grow and learn each and every day!
