El Sierra School opened its doors to students in 1969. It is a K-6 school with just over 300 students, and was built as an "Open Concept" school without interior walls to separate classrooms. Our students and staff are committed to this "openness" and enjoy a true family-type communal environment. It would not be uncommon to see older students helping younger students at one of the many computer pods located throughout the building, or teachers teaming with each other within and across the various grade levels.
