The objective of Evangelical Friends Church Southwest is to glorify, love, and obey the Lord Jesus Christ as the only Head of the Church. Evangelical Friends recognize that we are a part of Christ's universal Church composed of genuine disciples from all generations and from all over the world.
The main function of the Evangelical Friends Church Southwest is to equip and enable our churches and people to do together what they cannot do alone.
Mission Statement
Greetings to all of you in the name of our savior Jesus Christ. My name is Ray Canfield. Virginia and I have recently retired from full time foreign mission missionary service with EFCSW in Central America and Cambodia. During this transition time we have prayed much about how we could serve our Lord in this new chapter of our lives. Our hearts are still, and probably always will be, in missions. I have accepted the position of Director of Missions and look forward with excitement to serving our missionaries and our churches in this capacity. This last year we have been celebrating the past (Centennials) but what we see God doing now and the vision He is giving us for the future is where we need to focus our energy. It is a Kingdom ministry, winning souls out of darkness and establishing His Church on earth. I am available to serve you in your local church and look forward to working with pastors, missions committees and the Mission Board of EFCSW. Let's pray that we remain focused on the mission task that God has given to His church.
