The Farmstead is a small market garden in Southern Maryland. We offer CSA subscriptions and sell at farmer's markets. Our vegetables, herbs and cut flowers are grown using environmentally responsible methods based on the time-tested wisdom that healthy soil grows healthy food. We grow a wide selection of vegetables and choose varieties with great taste. Our produce is harvested just before delivery for maximum freshness. We have a limited number of CSA shares available, first come first serve basis, sign up for 2011 as soon as possible, don't wait!

Our weekly box includes a seasonal mix of 6-8 vegetables and herbs. An email newsletter provides information on share contents and cooking ideas. Our season runs for 18 weeks from June until the end of September. Please email if you want to receive our 2011 application for a share this coming year.
