Field Stone Farm We are a small diversified producer and marketer of local, organically and sustainably grown vegetables, eggs, poultry and value-added products. We are situated between Northfield and Roxbury, Vermont on 42 beautiful acres. We are dedicated in our mission to bring you the best food and farm experience possible. Each weekly share is put together thoughtfully, creatively and bountifully. Weekly newsletters enhance the experience with news of the farm and delicious recipes showcasing the week's offerings. Spring/Summer shares are picked up at the farm and include your own harvest of herbs and flowers. Fall/Winter shares are delivered to your door.
Our Spring/Summer share pick-ups start the first week in June and end in mid-October for a total of 20 weeks. You can expect a large variety of the freshest vegetables possible throughout the share period. Each week our newsletter alerts you to what produce you can expect, which items are most perishable and therefore should be used first, and several recipes that use the produce you are receiving that week. Our plan for 2011 is to ensure you are receiving plenty of the basics - carrots, lettuce, peas, beans, spinach, etc., as well as the familiar - broccoli, tomatoes, corn, peppers, zucchini, cucumbers, as well as the most nutritious - greens.
