About Us:

In a world that is constantly changing there are some things that are not to be altered one of which is the gospel of Jesus Christ. In 1830, a group of Baptists began meeting together just one year after the founding of the village of Raymond. They saw a need of assembling themselves together for the purpose of worship, Bible study, and furthering the Kingdom of God by witnessing to the saving grace of Christ to the community in which they lived. Thus FBC, Raymond (formerly Raymond Baptist Church) was born.

Since then, FBC has been committed to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Week after week, this commitment is expressed in many ways. It is seen in our Bible Study leaders who invest long hours preparing to share God's word. It is demonstrated by the members of our congregation who consistenly reach out and share their faith with those in need physically, emotionally and spiritually. It is evident in the variety of special programs and unique outreaches for which FBC is known in our community. And, most importantly, it is shown in the personal relationships with one another.
