We, the members of First Presbyterian Church of Monroe, as members of the one body of Christ, intend to:

-Enthusiastically share, in word and deed, the good news of God's love in Jesus Christ
-Foster a caring environment through a greater awareness of need and an expanded participation in caregiving
-Provide quality Christian Education for an increasing proportion of the congregation
-Encourage joyful participation in all forms of worship and celebration
-Reach out to the local and world community to give aid and comfort where our capabilities are most effective
-To more fully develop and use the abilities and resources (spiritual, personal and financial) of our congregation
-Provide a facility conducive to worship, fellowship, education, and attracting new members
-Support the existing leadership and encourage the expansion of leadership roles in our congregation
