Goals:

We intend to be a church of members who are growing as disciples of Jesus Christ and who are reaching out to the community with the love of Jesus Christ.

The mission of First Presbyterian Church in Blackwell is to:

Love God and show God's love for all.

Provide for and nourish spiritual growth.

Glorify and serve God by helping others.

The first goals set underneath this mission statement are:

Develop a pastoral care system to include all members, active and inactive.

Hire someone to lead our youth and help to oversee our Christian Education program.

Focus more of our church's attention on our work with the bus ministry children.

Set a plan to visit with the families touched by our bus ministry.

Investigate having a second worship service to attract new non-members.
