Welcome to Fonda-Fultonville Central School District, a great place to learn with a long tradition of preparing students for a lifetime of learning.
Fonda-Fultonville Central School District is located in Montgomery County, New York, nestled near the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains and divided by the Mohawk River.
Our mission is to work in partnership with our community to empower and challenge every student to become a lifelong learner and a responsible citizen.
Our schools trace their roots back to the late 1700s, when student in both Fonda and Fultonville were educated in privately-owned brick buildings.
Around the year 1800, two formal school districts were formed and operated for the next 150 years.
In 1953, Fonda and Fultonville schools merged forming Fonda-Fultonville Central School District.
