Mission Statement

The mission of Foster Elementary School, is to provide a safe, positive learning environment that maximizes student achievement, as defined by state and district standards, by:

Mastering Sequential academic skills

Developing self motivation and setting personal goals

Appreciating and respecting self and diverse ethnic groups

Developing effective oral and written communication skills

Reinforcing a strong home-school partnership

Promoting self, school and commiunity responsibility

Utilizing technology in the classroom and lab

Promoting higher level thinking skill and problem solving
