The Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion programs have openings for qualified volunteers.  Low income seniors, age 60 or better, with 20 hours a week to commit, can earn a tax-free stipend ($2.65/hr) and meal and mileage reimbursements.  Tutor children in the Foster Grandparent Program or assist homebound adults with the Senior Companion Program.  No experience is necessary and training will be provided.
