22 week season of produce shares available in two sizes, including many heirloom and specialty varieties. Full-sized share is approximately one bushel, with quantity and diversity increasing as the season progresses. Smaller share averages about two-thirds the size of the full share. Optional fruit share includes variety of in-season fruit with a mix of fruit grown on our farm and other local farms and orchards (some is conventionally grown). Optional flower share includes loose bunches of seasonal mix of flowers grown on our farm. Egg share through a partnership with neighboring farm.
Foxtail Community Farm is a family-owned and operated farm located in the northern foothills of the beautiful Catskill Mountains in rural Greene County, New York. We raise a wide variety of vegetables, herbs, flowers and some small fruits using sustainable agricultural practices. Our produce is marketed primarily through a CSA.
The centerpiece of membership in Foxtail Farm is a weekly share of fresh produce grown on our farm. Members receive 22 weeks of deliveries from June through October, with convenient delivery sites in the Capital District (currently Albany, Loudonville, Rensselaer and Delmar) and on the farm in Greenville. Members can also choose optional fruit, flower and egg shares.
