We all live downstream. A watershed is all land ridge tops to valleys that drain to a common body of water.

The Muskingum River drains the eastern third of Ohio and is the largest watershed in the state.

The Lower Muskingum River is arbitrarily defined at the 68 river miles from Philo to Marietta. The watershed contains a drainage area of 638 square miles including parts of Morgan, Muskingum, Noble, and Washington counties.
