Garrison Vision
The vision is to accelerate student progress through effective implementation of the BCPSS Master Plan, focusing on quality instruction by highly qualified teachers and providing a safe and conducive learning environment.
Garrison Middle School, located in Northwest Baltimore City, was built in 1932 and opened its doors to students in 1932. It is equipped with a gymnasium, cafeteria, an auditorium, and track and field facilities. Garrison serves approximately 650 student in grades six, seven, and eight. Sixth grade students come to GMS from six area elementary schools.
Students participate in academic and athletic extra curricular activities including catapult on-line, cheerleaders, child first, choir, debate team, education station, FEA, boys'/girls' basketball teams, M.E.S.A., national academic league (NAL), readers' book club, track & field and wrestling team.
