About Us:
Gorham Free Library was chartered as a free association library by the State of New York in 1914. Gorham Free Library is housed in one of the oldest buildings in the hamlet of Gorham. The former Presbyterian Church was built in 1862. The library moved into the building in 1968. It is also home of the Gorham Historical Society. The library is often the central meeting place of this small hamlet. We are committed to serving as a lifelong center for learning, information gathering, and leisure reading for those of all ages in the community.
