The Greater Hazard Area Performing Arts Series invites you to browse our 2011-2012 season website that features marquee performances this fall including Barter Theatre’s touring production of Civil War Voices in honor of the 150th Anniversary of the start of the Civil War and some of today’s best country and bluegrass music in a concert by The Grascals, with special guests The Roys. In the spring the Performing Arts Series is very excited to present Atlanta Rhythm Section for a Valentine’s Day event. Other season highlights include Alison Brown, the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs and our Mountain Songwriters Nights. All of these events promise to provide entertainment the whole family can enjoy.

Arts Education iconMost artists will also be offering arts education programs for area schools and students. These arts education programs provide excellent resources and documentation for area schools arts program reviews. You will see these arts education programs noted throughout the brochure with an apple icon as well as additional information in the Arts Education Schedule insert. Be sure to check out these wonderful arts education opportunities and contact the performing arts office to book a workshop or performance for your group to attend.

We invite you to become a volunteer, as well as a donor and patron at performances during the season. Whatever your interests or talents, there’s a place for you as a volunteer.
