Scouting Families- Make a meaningful contribution to the Youth of Vermont and Have Fun doing it!
Scouting Volunteers and Professionals - Make a meaningful contribution to the Youth of Vermont and Have Fun doing it!
Chartered Scouting Organizations - Fulfill their own mission, Make a meaningful contribution to the Youth of Vermont, and Have Fun doing it!
Scouting Investors - Fulfill their own missions, Make a meaningful contribution to the Youth of Vermont, and Have Fun doing it!

Vision Statement:

The Green Mountain Council, as a National Quality Council, will be recognized as the premiere youth serving agency in Vermont. As such, we will deliver our message to every available youth; achieve balanced growth; and through fully functional volunteer and professional leadership, will provide a dynamic program resulting in ever increasing participation by our membership.
