Groundworks Farm
Groundworks Farm is located just out of the Pittsford town center on Elm Street, just 15 minutes from downtown Rutland.

In 2011 we are offering: 1) A vegetable CSA. 2) Pasture-raised Chicken. 3) Pasture-raised Pork. 4) Pasture-raised Turkey. We have reduced meat prices for our Vegetable CSA members when they pickup their shares, as well as bulk discounts for large meat orders.

Our summer season runs from the first week in June through the last week in November, and pickup is weekly. there are 24 total pick up days. Each week shareholders will be greeted with bins full of freshly harvested produce. On the first pickup of the season each member will be supplied with a bag to put their produce in. The share is designed to feed a family of 3-5, depending on how many vegetables you consume, or an individual or couple who wishes to preserve quality food for the winter. Individuals or couples can "share a share" with a friend, and divide up each week's harvest between themselves. Additionally, shareholders can come to the farm to cut and take home U-pick crops, flowers and herbs.
