We are a group of people who are learning what it means to trust and follow Jesus together. We’re convinced that knowing Jesus is the greatest reality in the universe and participating in his mission to redeem the world is the opportunity of a lifetime.

Harpeth began in 1997 when God drew people from Williamson County to advance his Kingdom here in Franklin and beyond. The goal was to plant a church where all kinds of people were accepted as they are, encouraged to surrender their lives to Jesus, and equipped to spread the gospel in their homes, schools, neighborhoods, and throughout the nations. Since then, Jesus has transformed countless lives, and new chapters of our story are being written every day.

We are an Independent Christian Church. This means we are part of the Restoration Movement of churches throughout the world that are non-denominational. We base all our teachings and practices on the Bible. We seek to learn from Christian history and restore the heart and mission of the New Testament church that Jesus continues to lead and guide today.
