This non-profit organization (HOEC) is an education center located on 100 acres of pristine land off of SR 42, just outside Mount Gilead, Ohio. The HOEC is under the auspices of the Morrow County Soil and Water Conservation District, has a board, and is run by volunteers from the local community. Activities centering around nature and the environment are offered monthly at no charge, for families, children and adults. On-going activities include: Wee Discover (hands on activities for Pre-school children), Wild Days and Make-It Take-It.
