Health & Awareness; has developed strategies to address the burden of the increasing kidney disease.  One of the most efficient way to reduce chronic kidney disease is to prevent and treat its risk factors.  Not like the other organization that use donations for the ongoing problem.  Health & Awareness address people who have a family history of CKD, diabetes, hypertension cardiovascular disease; to slow progression of kidney disease as well as manage It’s complications and prevention. 100% of all donation received goes towards educational material use to prevent what lead to health problems in the Hampton Roads area only.

Unfortunately, nine out of 10 people with early kidney disease don’t know they have it because kidney disease has few warning signs in the early stages. All requested presentation, workshops, and health fairs are at no cost.
