Mission Statement
The mission of the Heritage Chorale is to perform a wide variety of high quality choral music and inspire in ourselves and our audience a greater love and understanding of music. We are committed to enriching the lives of singers, audiences, and our communities through education, performance, and collaboration.
Who We Are
The Heritage Chorale is now celebrating its 79th season. We are an auditioned mixed chorus whose mission is to perform high quality choral music in Boston's Metrowest region. With around 100 singers from more than 30 communities, the Heritage Chorale is conducted by renowned Boston-area music director John Finney. We enjoy coming together to learn and perform choral music for music lovers throughout the Metrowest community.
Our season typically includes three concerts: two classical and one Pops. Our classical concerts feature professional orchestra and soloists in the performance of a wide range of choral music. Our Pops concert features lighter music with a more relaxed atmosphere, often featuring accompanist Darryl Hollister. The Chorale's rich musical heritage is exemplified by our past concert programs.
Rehearsals are held every Tuesday evening, September through mid-May, at Scott Hall, First Parish Church in Framingham. The Heritage Chorale is a member of the Greater Boston Choral Consortium.
